Emergency services called after two vehicle crash near Shrewsbury

A casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service after a crash near Shrewsbury.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service scrambled two appliances to Harmer Hill from Shrewsbury at 3.51pm on Saturday to reports of a crash with a person trapped.

An operations officer and the land ambulance service also converged on the scene of the two vehicle collision.

When they arrived they found nobody was trapped.

Fire service personnel made the vehicles safe and left a casualty in the care of ambulance crews.
