Fire crews called to Shrewsbury 'smell of burning' alert
A Shrewsbury fire crew was scrambled to the town centre on Friday afternoon to reports of a smell of burning.

When they arrived at School Gardens just after 2.26pm they found an incident involving a smell of burning in an emergency lighting battery system.
Fire crews used thermal image camera. Electrics were isolated and an engineer attended
After just half an hour at 3.06pm the crew sent its stop message.
