Fight night to mark Josh's life
A boxing extravaganza will take place on Saturday evening in memory of a youngster who died from an asthma attack.
Merrifield Boxing in Shrewsbury is putting on the charity night called Fight Night 5, at the Buttermarket on Saturday.
The evening will consist of 15 bouts and the event will be dedicated to Shrewsbury youngsters Josh Woodman, who passed away at the age of 22 from an asthma attack in December.
The cost of a ticket is £25 and a percentage of the proceeds are being donated to Asthma UK.
Organisers are expecting over 400 supporters on the night with three title fights taking place. Doors open at 4pm, bouts start at 4.30 pm, and to book tickets call 07792 260122.
