Man on River Severn bridge in Shrewsbury led to safety
A man was pulled to safety from a bridge at the River Severn in Shrewsbury today.

Emergency crews went to the English Bridge following reports that a male was seen on the wrong side of it shortly before 3.40am.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene along with police to assist.
A water rescue unit joined crews from Baschurch and Shrewsbury at the scene.
The service said: "One person on wrong side of bridge parapet now in care of police. The fire service stood by to launch boat."
The crews left the scene at 3.52am.
