And now Lee Vaughan has said that if England make it to the final on Saturday he will be going back for a fifth time.

The 47-year-old is a buyer for Morris Lubricants and a life-long supporter of Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

He said: "The atmosphere out there has been absolutely fantastic.

"We went out for the first game against Tunisia, then for the Belgium game and again for the game against Sweden on Saturday.

"I'm going back out to watch the Croatia game too.

"If we win in the semi-final then I'll be flying back out again for the final on Saturday.

"I'm booking everything last minute, it's about £1,000 for each flight, and they're not direct flights.

"For the last game on Saturday I had to get two flights and an eight-hour train to the game. Then I was back at work for 9am on Monday morning.

"We're having to find weird and wonderful ways of getting there."

He added: "Not many fans have travelled to Russia, but the ones who have gone are really having a great time out there.

"The Russians have been very very welcoming, people have been saying it's one of the best World Cups ever."

Mr Vaughan said he goes to every Shrewsbury Town home game and most away games.

He said: "I go to every game I can to support Shrewsbury.

"I think the semi-final is a winnable game, but that Croatia will be thinking the same. It's not a game that we should fear."
