Rush hour delays after crash on A5 at Shrewsbury
Drivers faced rush hour delays of about 20 minutes on the A5 at Shrewsbury this morning follow a crash believed to involve a flat bed truck and a maintenance van,
The incident on the A5, from Preston roundabout towards Emstrey roundabout, blocked one lane and drivers faced delays from about 8am.
Meanwhile, another incident closed the M54 in both directions in the early hours between J6 and J7.
Police said officers were called to the M54 following concerns for a man's safety.
Officers attended and the incident was safely resolved, with the motorway reopening about two hours later.
