Would be students have a look at university life.
Prospective students can visit University Centre Shrewsbury this weekend to find out about all the institution has to offer.
This Saturday will see the main teaching centre at UCS open its doors for its second visit day, which will give a glimpse of student life to those considering it as the place for their undergraduate or postgraduate study.
Prospective students will be given a tour of the main campus at the town’s Guildhall site on the banks of the River Severn; they will have the opportunity to meet some of the academic and support staff as well as current students, and they will also get the chance to look around the accommodation at Mardol House, the Shropshire Council-funded centrally-located accommodation for students studying at UCS.
Marketing assistant Rachael Jones said: “Our visit days give people a taste of Shrewsbury student life. Visitors will see the town at its best – weather permitting – and we’ll also show them our teaching and leisure facilities and our excellent accommodation options.”
To book a place at the visit day on Saturday, (March 18) go to ucshrewsbury.ac.uk/visit-days, email enquiries@ucshrewsbury.ac.uk or call 01743 297176. There is another visit day on April 8.
