Firefighters and ambulance called out to house fire near Oswestry

Firefighters have been called to a house fire near Oswestry.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a house fire in Gobowen at 3.22pm on Wednesday.

Two appliances were mobilised from Oswestry and Ellesmere, and operations and fire investigation officers were called to the scene at Fairfield Close.

Firefighters took hosereel jets and breathing equipment.

West Midlands Ambulance Service has confirmed that an ambulance and paramedic officer are in attendance.
