Police reassure public after woman injured in Oswestry assault
A police inspector has reassured people in Oswestry after a woman was slashed in the face in an attack.

Emergency services were called to the Shelf Bank area at around 6.20pm on Monday, after the 30-year-old woman was assaulted.
Following the attack West Mercia Police arrested two teenagers, a 16 and a 17 year old, on suspicion of assault.
Officers said the woman had nasty but not life-threatening injuries.
Following the incident people living in the area took to social media to express their worries about crime.
Inspector Tracy Ryan said they should not worry about this incident.
She said: "Thanks to swift action two suspects are in custody, please be reassured this matter should not have any wider impact on the Oswestry community. Any witnesses are asked to come forward."
Detective Inspector Scott Harris is appealing for witnesses.
"This was a nasty attack that has left the victim with significant injuries. If anyone was in the area around the time of the incidents then we would urge them to get in contact,” he said.
