Hunt for Oswestry hit-and-run driver after child hurt

A child suffered minor injuries in a hit-an-run incident in Oswestry.

Police want to speak to the driver of the car after the collision happened in Upper Church Street, close to the RK and M Lewis shop, at about 3.15pm on Tuesday.

The child suffered minor injuries and an ambulance was not needed.

Police say they believe the car, which did not stop, was being driven by a woman.

Anyone with information, or the driver herself, is urged to contact West Mercia police quoting incident number, 0399S 130218.
