The signing sessions, for which entry is free, begin from 11am and feature Adam Hamdy, whose new thriller Freefall is out this month, and Jenny Blackhurst, for whom The Foster Child is her third book for publishers Headline.

Adam's first book Pendulum was published last year to critical acclaim, gaining a slot on Simon Mayo's Drivetime book slot upon publication. It is described as a high- octane, edge-of-your-seat thriller about John Wallace, a photographer, who is mysteriously targeted for death in a white-knuckle ride deep into a terrifying conspiracy.

Jenny's The Foster Child is a gripping psychological thriller featuring child psychologist Imogen Reid who takes on the case of 11-year-old Ellie Atkinson, a child she refuses to believe is as dangerous as her reputation would have it. Ellie was the only survivor of a fire that killed her family. Imogen is convinced she's just a sad and angry child struggling to cope with her loss.

But Ellie's foster parents and teachers are starting to fear her. When she gets upset, bad things seem to happen. And as Imogen gets closer to Ellie, she may be putting herself in danger.
