'Armistice Day, 1918' is the only thing written on the back of this photo among Great War memorabilia held in the archives of Wrekin College, or Wellington College as it was known at that time of the photo. Armistice gathering at the top of The Wrekin on November 12, 1918, the day after the Armistice was signed, with that day being declared a school holiday.
