Man banned for three years after driving in Newport while on cannabis
A Birmingham man has been banned from driving for three years after being caught behind the wheel in Newport while under the influence of cannabis.
Usman Khan of Wellington Road in Handsworth was driving a BMW on the A41 near Lower Bar in Newport on June 24 this year at around 1.30pm, when officers checked his number plate, magistrates in Telford heard on Thursday (November 27).

Ms Kate Price, prosecuting, told the court that according to the police computer, Khan did not match the person who was insured on the vehicle so they pulled him over.
