An XL bully which attacked another dog in Telford will not be killed after a court granted it a reprieve.

Harinder Sohal's dog attacked another animal in Hedingham Road, Leegomery, Telford on June 3 this year.

Sohal, aged 52 and of Hedingham Road, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control and allowing a fighting dog in a public place without a muzzle or lead.

Harinder Sohal was ordered to pay out more than £1,200 at Telford Magistrates Court after his XL bully savaged another dog. The court also ordered for the dog to be destroyed
