Man charged with murder over woman's death in Telford

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Telford.

Claire Orrey died on the morning of Sunday, July 30 (Photo: West Mercia Police).

Robert Orrey, 31, of Burnell Road in Telford was charged by officers on Wednesday with the murder of Claire Orrey and the attempted murder of a second person.

The charges are in relation to an incident at a house on Burnell Road in Telford on July 30, 2023.

He has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
