Two charged in connection with robbery at Shrewsbury convenience store

Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery at a convenience store.

Patrick Pugh, 32, of Longden Coleham and 34-year-old Mark Williams, of Barleyfield, Shrewsbury, were both charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article on Wednesday.

The charges relate to the robbery of the Spar in Longden Coleham in the county town on Tuesday. Staff were threatened and items were stolen during the incident, however, nobody was injured.

Both men appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today. and were remanded in custody until their next appearance at Shrewsbury Crown Court on February 20.
