Telford man, 45, denies murdering woman at house

A 45-year-old Telford man will face trial after he today denied murdering a woman in the town.

Paul Beddoes appeared via video link at Stafford Crown Court.

He pleaded not guilty to murdering Lynn McNally at an address in Mullinder Drive, Ketley Bank, on February 21.

Beddoes, of Mullinder Drive, was told by Judge Michael Chambers QC that he will face trial at Stafford Crown Court on August 13.

Ms McNally, 46, also of Mullinder Drive, died of multiple knife wounds.

Beddoes was remanded in custody.
