Three men in court over conspiracy to rape teenager

Three men accused of conspiring to rape a teenager have appeared before magistrates in Telford.

Ayad Hizam, aged 21, Salem Qasem, aged 20, and Ghamer Sulayman, aged 22, all of Birmingham, gave no pleas at the hearing.

The charge relates to child sex exploitation allegations relating to a 15-year-old girl.

Hizam, of Bridge Croft, in Balsall Heath, and Sulayman, of Mercia Drive, Kings Heath, also faced a string of sex offences relating to the same girl.

The case was transferred to Shrewsbury Crown Court where it will be heard on March 26.

The pair and Qasem, of Poplar Avenue, Runcorn Road, Balsall Heath, were granted conditional bail until then.
