The dogs, three female brown and grey pedigree border terriers, were taken from the property at Oldfields on Wednesday.

Alan Ambrose, of Market Drayton's safer neighbourhood team, said the dogs had been taken from an outfield building while the owners were out during the day.

One of the dogs is three years old, another is one and the third is a puppy.

All of the dogs are microchipped.
