Archie Spriggs: Trial date set for woman accused of son's murder
The trial date is set for a Shropshire woman accused of murdering her seven-year-old son.
Lesley Speed appeared at Stafford Crown Court by prison video link this morning.
She is charged with the murder of the schoolboy Archie Spriggs who was found at a property, in Rushbury Road, on Wall under Heywood near Church Stretton on September 21.
The 44-year-old was remanded in custody until October 26 for a plea and case management hearing. Her trial will be held in March.
