Oswestry care firm denies safety allegation
An Oswestry care firm has denied breaching health and safety regulations.
Akari Care Limited, operator of The Court, in Threadneedle Street, pleaded not guilty to a charge of failing to discharge general health, safety and welfare duty at Telford Magistrates Court.
The charge relates to an allegation that employees were at risk of falling down cellar stairs at the premises, in West Felton.
The case was adjourned and was committed to Shrewsbury Crown Court where it will next be heard next month.
