£900 haul in Market Drayton burglary
Items worth about £900 were stolen during a burglary at a house in Market Drayton.
Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Smithfield Road, sometime between 12.30am and 7am on Sunday.
Constable Mick Sturland, of the town's safer neighbourhood team, said a person or people entered the house, possibly through an unlocked side door, and took a black 50-inch Sony Television worth £500, a white Toshiba Laptop worth £350 and a vape worth £50.
Meanwhile police are appealing for information after a man was arrested and later charged in connection with an incident that took place in Longlands Lane, Market Drayton on Sunday.
Samuel Butter, aged 27, of Simons Road, Market Drayton is charged with affray.
He has been release on court bail to attend Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 4.
