The announcement comes a day after three others were charged for allegedly being part of the group aiming to deliver the class B drug to Market Drayton.

The six charged were today named as Gary Keith Davies, 37, of Market Drayton but currently living in Overdale, Telford; Ashley Watkin, 38, from Loggerheads, near Market Drayton; Jamie Grant, 25, of Sovereign Lane, Ashley, near Market Drayton; David Thompson, 42, of Laburnum Avenue, Cannock; David Berry, 42 of Redford Road, Manchester; and Craig David Little, 31, of Duffield Road, Middleton.

On Monday David North, 50, from Blore Road in Hales, near Market Drayton, Bann Klootwiijk, 47, of London Road, Nantwich, and Mark Ballinger, 32, of Farnborough, Hampshire, were also charged.

Police raided units at the Adderley Road Industrial Estate in Market Drayton last November and seized hundreds of kilograms of cannabis worth £3,000 per kilo. Davies, Watkin, Grant, Thompson, Berry and Little are expected to appear in Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
