Three arrests after disturbance in Telford

Three men were arrested after a disturbance in Donnington, Telford.

Several police cars and an ambulance rushed to Queens Road after reports of trouble.

Eyewitnesses heard glass smashing and angry exchanges before a fight spilled out from a house into the narrow street on Friday night.

A man was taken to hospital. Inspector James Ashton, of West Mercia Police, said: "There appear to have been no life threatening injuries."

Chris Ammonds, spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "We were called to a disturbance at around 10.15pm on Friday night which resulted in three men being arrested.

"They have been released on police bail pending further inquiries, and there is an investigation continuing."
