Motorcyclist treated for injuries after crash near Hodnet
A woman was treated for injuries after coming off a motorbike.
The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 2.08pm yesterday (Thursday, July 24) reporting the collision in Marchamley.
One fire crew was sent from Wem Fire Station to the scene. A land ambulance also attended.
The West Midlands Ambulance said crews arrived to find a woman who had come off a motorbike.
The motorcyclist was taken into the care of paramedics and treated for minor injuries.
Firefighters used soil, a shovel, small gear and an environmental grab pack to deal with a fuel leak and make the scene safe.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision at The Nurseries in Marchamley at around 2.10pm and sent an ambulance to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found a woman who had come off a motorbike. She was treated for minor injuries before being given self-care advice and discharged at the scene."
Firefighters were finished at the scene by 2.45pm.
