Firefighters have extinguished a fire involving a discarded tyre in a village near Shrewsbury.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 1.10pm reporting the incident in Uffington.
One fire crew was sent from Shrewsbury Fire Station to the scene.
Reports from the fire service said one discarded tyre was alight.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze using a hose reel jet.
The fire was under control by 1.37pm
