A former village school house which closed its doors for the final time more than 15 years ago has been listed for sale.

When Childs Ercall Primary School closed in 2008, there were fewer than 20 pupils on its roll.
Shropshire Council ruled that the school was economically unsustainable and so its doors were closed for good.
In 2011, an application was then submitted to demolish the former primary school near Market Drayton, and under plans by the Lichfield Diocesan Board of Education, two four-bedroom houses and a community room would be built.
The land was developed to provide two homes, and now the former school house has been listed for sale with Barbers Estate Agents for offers in the region of £265,000.
Barbers said the three bedroom Victorian property requires a full renovation to be restored to its former glory.
Located on Village Road in Childs Ercall, the three bedroom period property boasts two reception rooms, a kitchen and bathroom.
The former school house also offers a detached garage, outbuildings and gardens.
