Car destroyed in late-night fire in Market Drayton
A car has been completely destroyed in a late-night fire.
A fire crew from Market Drayton was called to deal with the incident involving a private saloon car on Sutton Lane at around 1am today (Wednesday, February 5).
An update from the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the firefighters had worn breathing equipment while they used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze.
West Mercia Police officers also attended the scene.
The fire service said the vehicle had been "fully destroyed by fire".
