Firefighters called to Bridgnorth roundabout after car fire

Firefighters have been called to a Bridgnorth roundabout after a car caught fire.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 6.27pm reporting the incident at the Hermitage Roundabout.

One fire crew was sent from Bridgnorth Fire Station to the scene.

The fire service's incident log reported that one saloon car was 70 per cent involved in a fire.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to tackle the car fire. 

The incident concluded at 6.45pm.
