Nell Owen, 25, of Radcliffe Road, Criccieth, North Wales, appeared at Mold Crown Court, where she admitted a charge of dangerous driving.

Owen admitted that she drove a Volvo goods vehicle dangerously on a road at Caersws, near Newtown, on November 4 last year.

Judge Rhys Rowlands was told on Friday that a baby was left injured following the collision.

The judge imposed an interim driving ban and bailed her pending sentence in three weeks time.

He said her driving "had fairly serious consequences" and that all sentencing options would remain open.
