Police have called on people in Market Drayton to report nuisance drivers in a bid to help them clamp down on the problem.
Officers said there have been reports of people driving erratically and making people's lives a misery in the town. Town mayor Roy Aldcroft said: "This is not something we can eradicate overnight but I am pleased with the measures police are putting in place to sort it out."
PCSO Sharon Creber said they would be continuing to target "anti-social drivers" and called on people to report a time, place and brief description of what has happened, along with the registration number of the vehicle. Anyone with information about boy racer should call 101.
