Pictures and video: Van crashes into Telford garden
A Telford mother of three had a shock when she got home from work and found a delivery van in her front garden.
The van, belonging to the Panther Group, left the road and crashed into the front garden of Donna Amoako's house in Withywood Drive at around 2.20pm this afternoon.
Donna, 34, said: "I couldn't believe it when I drove home from work and saw a van in my garden.
"My first thought was whether anybody was trapped underneath it, because a lot of kids play around here.

"I have three children and it was only by chance that we all weren't here when the crash happened.

"Normally I come straight home from work, but today I went to my mom's and was an hour later getting back.
"If the children had been playing in the garden when the van came into it, I don't want to think what could have happened."
The van was eventually towed out of the garden by a transit van, revealing the extent of the damage it had caused to the steps and the metal hand rails that ran alongside them.
Police also attended the scene and spoke to the house owner and the van driver.
