Vandals rip up flowers in Market Drayton town centre
Vandals have ripped flowers from a town centre planter in Market Drayton.
They were pulled from the planters outside the Town Hall.
Police are asking anyone who has information about the incident, which is thought to have happened at about 7.30pm on Sunday, to come forward.
Mayor Tim Beckett said the vandalism has left him frustrated.
He said: "This is really disappointing as we haven't had any issues like this since last year.
"I don't know what sense of achievement these idiots get out of doing it.
"Last weekend a group of us spent over two hours litter picking to make our town look good as we take pride about Market Drayton, then less than a week later you have an incident like this - I am very disappointed."
