Crossbow stolen in Shropshire hotel burglary
A crossbow was among items stolen in a burglary at a top Shropshire hotel.
The burglary took place at Hawkstone Park Hotel, between 5pm on Sunday and 6.30am yesterday.
Police say entry was forced to the grounds where a number of items, including hand and power tools, a 42 inch JVC television and a Barnett's crossbow were stolen from the Follies Caves.
Police are eager to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw a white Renault Kangoo van in the area at the time.
They have released a CCTV image of the van and wish to speak with the driver who may be able to help with their inquiries.
A spokesman said: "The van was seen in the area at the time of the burglary and the driver may have vital information."
