Warrant for arrest after Newport man fails to appear at court
A warrant was issued today for the arrest of a Newport man who failed to appear at court for sentencing.

Simon Thomas Picken, 30, of Greyhound Mews, was was shot with a plastic bullet after police feared he had a gun.
At an earlier hearing Picken admitted using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence.
