Tickets for this year's event are now on sale, with organisers warning visitors to get them early as ticket numbers have been capped.

Air show spokesman Amanda Butcher said: "Last year saw our biggest ever crowd which put unacceptable pressure on the local roads causing delays.

"To prevent this happening again we will be putting a cap on ticket sales – this could mean that we will not have any available on the day if advance sales continue at the present rate."

As well as more than five hours of flying displays, other attractions at the show on June 8 include a craft fair, interactive indoor exhibitions and an arena as well as plenty of rides and activities for children.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.cosfordairshow.co.uk or by calling the ticket line on 0871 230 1083.

Advance tickets cost £20. If any remain unsold they will be available on the gate for £25. Accompanied under-16s get in free and there is free parking.
