Shrewsbury volunteers put seal on cards scheme
It is a task which took them several hours – but five hardy volunteers spent an evening making sure 1,000 charity cards all had their own envelope before they hit the shelves.

The quintet took on the task on Wednesday evening after the cards were made free of charge by staff at Battlefield Printing Group (BPG) in Shrewsbury.
The cards will now go on sale at a number of shops in Shrewsbury town centre to raise cash for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Amanda Mullins, from Montford Bridge, who is an accounts manager for BPG and also fundraises for Marie Curie, said the support has been brilliant. Mrs Mullins said: "It's all local companies who have become involved, from the envelopes to selling the cards on the high street. People have really taken the time out to help us."
The cards were made with materials donated by local companies and will cost £1 each. They all have an image of a daffodil on the front, which was captured by Shrewsbury photographer Jayne Booton.
Mrs Mullins said: "It's a local daffodil, it's really beautiful and it's great build up for our daffodil appeal which happens in March."
The Marie Curie daffodil appeal sees volunteers take to the streets to raise funds so nurses can continue to give care to terminally ill patients.
The committee for Shrewsbury raised £15,000 last year, and Mrs Mullins says BPG have helped with the campaign enormously.
She said: "We'll definitely sell all the cards. BPG gave up their printing time and it's been a brilliant project."
