Top cheese maker to star at Shrewsbury Farmer's Market
An award-winning cheese producer will be setting up a stall at this weekend's Shrewsbury Farmer's Market.
Brock Hall Farm Dairy, owned and run by Sarah and Robert Hampton, has already created a loyal following in Ludlow and south Shropshire and now their range of cheeses, which are bought by Michelin starred chefs, top restaurants and delis, will be available in Shrewsbury.
The dairy, based near Bridgnorth, creates a range of goats' cheeses, all of which have been awarded gold stars at the Great Taste Awards or medals at the British and World Cheese Awards.
Cheesemaker and business owner Sarah Hampton said: "I am thrilled to be joining Shrewsbury Farmer's Market as our cheeses were a big hit at the Shrewsbury Food Festival last year.
"At the moment, our cheese is not widely available in the Shrewsbury/north Shropshire area, so being at the farmer's market will mean that more people can try it and buy it on a regular basis."
The Shrewsbury Farmer's Market, which is now in its 11th year, runs on the first Friday of each month in the Square between 9am and 3.30pm. Stuart Jones, who runs the market, said: "We are really pleased to have another high quality local business selling in Shrewsbury and it will complement the other traders already there."
