£8,000 of clubs stolen from Oswestry Golf Club
Equipment worth £8,000 was stolen when raiders smashed their way into Oswestry Golf Club.

The burglars took a large number of golf clubs from the premises at Aston Park just off the A5 at Queens Head before making off across fields in a vehicle.
Today West Mercia Police said they believed two men were involved in the break-in between 6.30pm and 6.50pm on New Year's Eve.
Police spokesman Richard Ewels said: "The two men stole 175 litres of red diesel from a tank at the golf club before breaking into the clubhouse by smashing a window in a door."
