A primary school in Shropshire remains closed today following the discovery of a mystery smell by staff.

A primary school in Shropshire remains closed today following the discovery of a mystery smell by staff.

The smell was discovered in one of the classrooms at Criftins Primary School, near Ellesmere, yesterday.

Shropshire Council officers went to the school and as a precaution the decision was taken to close it yesterday afternoon.

Investigations into the smell will be carried out today.
