This is the latest handiwork of digital artist Andy McKeown from Shrewsbury, who lit up Nottingham's historic council house as part of the city's Light Night celebrations.
Mr McKeown, who lives in Belle Vue, put together a series of five displays as part of the celebrations.
The centrepiece of the exhibition was this giant light installation on the city's massive council house building.
"The piece was called Postcards from Nottingham," he said.
"It was a four-and-a-half hour live mix and I spent two days photographing buildings and various things in museums. I created 192 images and just blended them together over the whole evening," he said.
Mr McKeown said he had been commissioned by the organisers to do another piece for next year's Light Night.
He has a number of other national and international projects in the pipeline during the rest of 2012.
"I am also producing two major light works for Liverpool Light Night on May 18 – one to illuminate the massive outdoor altar of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the other a 30m illumination onto Exterior of St John's Shopping Centre," he said.
The 59-year-old will also see his work feature in the digital graffiti Festival 2012, which takes place in Florida later this year.
