Nurse accused of taking £100,000 from elderly patient

A district nurse living near Ludlow is accused of taking £100,000 from a patient in her 80s.

Christine Roberts, 48, of Richards Castle, is charged with misconduct in a public office, theft and perverting the course of justice.

She appeared at Hereford Magistrates' Court yesterday and was bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on February 20.
