'Sorry, Camilla, we're sold out,' says Ludlow shoe firm

Bosses of a south Shropshire shoe firm have been forced to turn down a request from The Duchess of Cornwall for their latest model - as they had already sold out.

The Duchess enquired about the hand-stitched soft leather and suede shoes, made by Zims, after spotting a pair at the Ludlow firm's stall at the Hay-on-Wye Festival.

Company boss Lynsey Mundy said: "She said she really wished that she had a pair but unfortunately we couldn't oblige because we were all sold out."
