Body found in woodland near Ludlow

A man's body was found by a member of the public in woodland near Ludlow this morning.

Police were called to woods at Bringewood at 8.20am and were still investigating the scene this afternoon.

West Mercia Police spokesman Toby Shergold said: "At this stage it is too early to tell what the cause of death may be and we are treating it as unexplained at this time."
