A Paralympic world record holder from Shropshire has been presented with a coveted gold Blue Peter badge.
International archer Danielle Brown, who last year took gold at the Commonwealth Games, was presented with the badge by Prime Minister David Cameron.
It is given to "remarkable children and inspiring celebrities".
Danielle, of Telford, joins a long list of luminaries who have been awarded the accolade, including The Queen, David Beckham, Lewis Hamilton, David Attenborough and Sir Elton John.
After getting the award, she said: "I am absolutely overwhelmed by this honour. I had a lovely day out at Downing Street to receive the badge, and I am very proud."
The 22-year-old can be seen receiving her award from Prime Minister David Cameron on the special Gold Badge show, aired on BBC 1 at 4.30pm today.
Joe McCulloch deputy editor of Blue Peter, said: "Danielle is a true inspiration. Her achievements, including most recently a gold medal win in archery at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, have shown that disability needn't hold you back."
