Pub remains closed

A closed Telford pub which had been due to reopen last week has remained closed while pub chain Punch Tavern thrashes out some "issues".

The Railway Inn on Mill Bank, Wellington, shut down on or about February 7. It had been expected to reopen under a new team on Thursday of last week.

However, people who have gone to the pub have found it locked and in darkness.

Jo Navin, spokeswoman for Punch Taverns, said: "We are working to resolve some issues which will enable us to reopen the pub."
