Letter: BBC's water bill is good value
Letter: The BBC spends £400,000 on bottled water - but that's good value.

Letter: Tempting as it may be to deal in absolutes, reports of the amount the BBC spends on bottled water seem to rather miss the bigger picture – BBC spends £400,000 on bottled water (Shropshire Star, August 12).
The BBC employs about 23,000 people, so spending £406,832 equates to £17.65 per person per year – or less than 5p a day. Surely that's good value to provide that many people with the only drink with zero sugar, zero calories and zero additives?
