Paraglider hurt in crash

A paraglider has been injured after falling to the ground in Shropshire

today.

The incident occurred on Longmynd, Church Stretton at around 8.50am.

The man, who is believed to be in his early 60s suffered minor leg and back

injuries and was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
