Leading naturalist David Bellamy OBE has spoken out against plans to build seven wind turbines on the north Shropshire border.
Mr Bellamy is backing campaign group Vortex in its fight to stop Nuon Renewables building a windfarm in Poplar Lane, Norton-in-Hales, near Market Drayton.
He told the Shropshire Star: "The amount of electricity turbines produce is quite small and they are very inefficient. They also kill birds and bats and reduce property values nearby."
A protest march will take place from the White Lion Pub, Knighton, near Market Drayton, tomorrow at 2pm.
