Revamp of area is wonderful

Every time that I walk or drive along Lancaster Road, Harlescott, Shrewsbury, I cannot escape the superb design and workmanship following the completion of the demolition and rebuilding of the old Charlie's Store.

The landscaping, earthworks and shrub planting have all been tastefully done. Then the whole area has been surrounded by railings which has given the whole area a complete uplift.

It is a real joy to see it every time I go along that route. I am sure that local residents appreciate it as they look out from their windows and visitors to the shops etc. They cannot but be impressed by this high quality finish.

I would like to congratulate the developers for this excellent piece of work. So often in a deprived area an average or sub-standard finish is deemed to be acceptable, but this is different.

I feel that it is worthy of public acknowledgement and hope that other local residents and visitors passing through are as pleased as I am with what has been done.
